The Russell

819 Russell St.
Nashville, TN 37206

Housed in a 115 year old church in the middle of a charming east Nashville neighborhood with plenty of bars and restaurants but no other hotels around, the Russell is Nashville's most original boutique hotel. With 23 unique rooms and much of the churches original charm preserved in the properties 2019 renovation, the hotel features stained glass windows, brick walls and even reuses the churches old pews as headboards. Amazingly, the hotel donates a substantial portion of each nights bill to local homeless shelters. The Russell's slogan is 'Stay here, change lives' and thus far over 16,000 beds and meals have been donated.

Sunset in East Nashville

East Nashville

East Nashville is kind of like the Brooklyn of Nashville. It’s large, diverse and begins once you cross a river (the Cumberland) from downtown. Known for being artsy and creative, local restaurants, coffee shops, art galleries and bars are interwoven in the fabric of many of East Nashville’s communities.
