Bad Idea is a delightful wine bar in East Nashville set in a converted Church that maintains many of the church's design queues and furnishings. On the menu is an eclectic selection of wines paired with Laotian fusion cuisine and small plates. The multi-level restaurant features a large horseshoe bar in the middle of the dining room and emphasizes comfortable lounge seating throughout. There are two private dining rooms set to the side of the main area and an upper level that is also bookable and private.
Neighborhood Spotlight:
East Nashville
East Nashville is kind of like the Brooklyn of Nashville. It’s large, diverse and begins once you cross a river (the Cumberland) from downtown. Known for being artsy and creative, local restaurants, coffee shops, art galleries and bars are interwoven in the fabric of many of East Nashville’s communities.
