Nashville food truck The Grilled Cheeserie first opened on the streets of Music City in 2010. This food truck, known for its gourmet grilled cheese, tomato soup and tater tots was featured in many national magazines and ranked as one of the top 5 food trucks in America by a number of publications. In 2017, the Cheeserie expanded into a brick and mortar in Hillsboro Village offering more grilled cheese customization options and milkshakes.
The Grilled Cheeserie was started by husband and wife team Joseph Bogan and Crystal De Luna-Bogan. Crystal, the main chef, is Le Corden Bleu trained and has an extensive culinary background having worked in some of Southern California's best fine-dining restaurants before falling in love with the food truck concept and starting the Grilled Cheeserie in Nashville.
