Best For: Partying, Live Music, Restaurants
Life in Downtown Nashville, for better or worse, revolves around one street - Broadway. Broadway, or in fact Lower Broadway as it’s known by locals, is the home of dozens of rowdy honky tonks that feature live music 16+ hours a day, 365 days a year. All these venues are located in the same five block area and whether it’s classic or new country, Lower Broadway has something for you. All the bars on Lower Broad are 21 and up and at pretty much all times completely packed full of people. If your coming from out of town and looking to party, this is the place.
Away from Broadway but still downtown, Printer’s Alley is another great and classic nightlife district. Printer’s dates back to the 1940s and has a long history of law bending and live music that any Nashville bar-goer will find irresistible.
Not looking to party but still want to check out Downtown Nashville? Well there’s the Ryman, a number of great restaurants and a walk across the Cumberland River on the Pedestrian Bridge is a great activity at anytime of day.
