The Smiling Elephant

The Smiling Elephant is a pad Thai restaurant located on 8th Ave S whose mission is to serve authentic Thai cuisine at a reasonable price. The Smiling Elephant is family-owned and known more for the quality of their food then anything else. Inside the atmosphere is pretty, quaint and usually packed with people. The small, wooden and white, house-like frame of the restaurant is unique to its area and although it’s petite, its design makes it unmistakeable and hard to miss. The smiling elephant has many different things on it’s menu but is universally known for pad Thai, a stir-fried rice noodle dish commonly served as street food and at casual local eateries in Thailand.
